Chief Warrant Officer P. Rosa

RCA BadgeChief Warrant Pedro Rosa was born in January 1965, in Ponta Delgade, Sao Miguel, Portugal. He immigrated to Canada in April 1975 and 2 years later he enlisted with 818 Air Cadet Squadron. He steadily rose through the cadet ranks graduating at the age of 18 as a Squadron Warrant Officer.

CWO P. Rosa joined the 48th Highlanders of Canada as an Infantry man, where he served until 1986 when he decided to re-muster as a Supply Tech. Shortly after that, CWO Rosa attended Junior Leaders Course, and upon graduation he commenced his long and rewarding career as an instructor, where he taught on courses ranging from Basic Recruit Course to trade courses, and finally instructing on Senior Leadership Courses as a Course Director.

CWO P.Rosa served with UN in 1989 in Namibia, and 1992 in Cambodia. Upon his return to Canada, he was asked to assist the 7th Toronto Regiment in resolving supply issues. He liked the unit so much that in mere 6 months he requested a transfer from 48th Highlanders to 7th Toronto Regiment where he served ever since as a Regimental Quarter Master.

CWO P.Rosa is a father of two boys, 9 and 6. His hobbies are carpentry and Texas Holdem.
